Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were clean, they had a lingering smell of smoke, and soundproofing was lacking. However, cleanliness is crucial for me, so that was a plus. The service was a bit hit and miss, with some staff members not attentive enough, although I enjoyed the service in the Day Club. Being above a nightclub made the location lively but loud, affecting the overall experience. The dining area felt cramped and unprepared during breakfast service. Despite these drawbacks, there were some enjoyable moments at the hotel.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room took a bit longer than expected to be cleaned, and unfortunately, it was located right above a lively nightclub. On the bright side, the room itself was spacious and offered a lovely view of the bay.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and very nice service. The location was great for exploring downtown, although being above a loud nightclub was a downside. The dining experience was satisfactory, and the facilities were top-notch.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the room I received was beyond beautiful, with two windows overlooking the lake, unfortunately, it was right above the 'Night Club,' making it a noisy stay. The service was a rollercoaster of extremes: some staff were extremely helpful and friendly, while others forgot about our drink order. The location on Grand Traverse Bay is stunning but marred by the smell of rotten beer and fruit. The dining experience was disappointing, especially in the cramped Day Club room during breakfast. Overall, it was a stay of contrasts with moments of delight and frustration.
The hotel was in a lovely location close to the lake and just a short walk to downtown. The rooms were lacking in insulation, had poor lighting, limited Bay views, and tiny bathrooms, yet they didn't seem fully ready for summer due to ongoing construction. The service encountered was overwhelmed but tried to make up for any inconveniences.
The hotel has a vibrant atmosphere with live music and DJ nights, but noise from a nearby construction site can be disturbing. While our room wasn't serviced due to a 'do not disturb' sign, the energy from the nightclub below might not be for everyone.
The hotel rooms were nicely appointed with a fridge, fluffy pillows, and contemporary furnishings but were extremely dark due to the small window that did not open. I could hear everything from a wedding reception beneath my room.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, the view of the outdoor pool from my kids suite with bunk beds and a king-size bed was terrible. The noise from the bass until 2 am was quite disruptive. The service, however, was friendly, and the staff was extremely helpful. The location was convenient, but the price seemed a bit overpriced considering the facilities. Dining was overpriced for the quality offered. Overall, a decent stay with some highs and lows.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. My room was nicely appointed with modern furnishings and very clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to address any issues. The location was ideal for exploring the city on foot, and the dining experience was delicious. The facilities were excellent, making my stay truly enjoyable.
The hotel felt like it was trying to refresh the rooms, but the 'bones' were old. My check-in experience was delayed, and my room happened to be directly above the lively nightclub, providing a better view but also loud nights on Fridays and Saturdays. The service was nice overall, but there were moments where guests were allowed to smoke in non-smoking areas, and I didn't get the room with the view I requested. On the bright side, the staff was thorough, pleasant, and attentive. The location is okay; it's not far from downtown and convenient for off-season visits. However, the noise from the nightclub could affect light sleepers. The dining experience was satisfactory; breakfast was nice but a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity. The facilities were decent, although there were some holy spiders to be cautious of after a late-night at the nightclub.
